B Corp
PUR Projet became a Certified B Corporation in 2016. B Corps are a new type of company that uses the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. B Corp certification is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic certification is to milk.
International Platform for Insetting
The International Platform for Insetting (IPI) is a collaborative platform involving companies, academics, project developers, project operators, certification bodies… aiming at giving visibility and promoting Insetting practices worldwide. It was founded as a non-profit organization in December 2013 in Paris by PUR Projet and Adaptogether. AccorHotels, Chanel and Nespresso France joined as corporate Founding members.
UNESCO
The United Nations, Educational, Scientifical and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognised PUR Projet’s Biocorredor Martin Sagrado Project by registering it to the Gran Pajatén Biosphere Reserve in Peru in 2016. Biosphere reserves are areas comprising terrestrial, marine and coastal ecosystems. Each reserve promotes solutions reconciling the conservation of biodiversity with its sustainable use. The Gran Pajatén Biosphere Reserve includes the Biocorredor Martin Sagrado conservation area as well as 2.4 million hectares of forest.

Carbone 4
Carbone 4 is the a French consulting firm specialised in carbon strategy. The firm’s name refers to the Factor 4 concept, the name given to France’s objective of cutting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 75% by 2050. Carbone 4 advises public and private entities, assisting them in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
The Gold Standard
The Gold Standard, supported by WWF, is the most rigorous certification standard globally for carbon offset projects. It ensures that energy efficiency and renewable energy projects actually reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, and provide benefits to the local population. PUR Projet’s project in Honduras is developed under the Gold Standard.
Fair Trade International
Fair trade is an alternative approach to conventional trade based on a partnership between producers and traders, businesses and consumers. The international Fairtrade system – made up of Fairtrade International and its member organizations – represents the world’s largest and most recognized fair trade system.
PUR Projet contributed to the development of the FairTrade Carbon Standard in 2015 and works with many Fair Trade cooperatives on the field.
Ecocert
ECOCERT is an organic certification organization, founded in France in 1991. They are in charge for the VCS verification audits of our projects in Peru.

PUR Projet is a member of 1% for the Planet. Its mission is to build, support and activate an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet.
World Agroforestry Centre
The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) is a CGIAR Consortium Research Centre. ICRAF’s headquarters are in Nairobi, Kenya, with six regional offices located in Cameroon, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya and Peru. ICRAF generates science-based knowledge about the diverse benefits – both direct and indirect – of agroforestry, or trees in farming systems and agricultural landscapes, and disseminates this knowledge to develop policy options and promote practices that improve livelihoods and benefit the environment.
PUR Projet works with the World Agroforestry Center on common field training sessions, joint publication of pedagogic content on agroforestry and several field research collaborations.
Verified Carbon Standard
The Verified Carbon Standard is the world’s leading voluntary greenhouse gas program. This standard methodology is used on PUR Projet’s projects in Peru.
The Climate, Community and Biodiversity Alliance Standard
The CCBA is a standard promoting land management activities that credibly mitigate global climate change, improve the well-being and reduce the poverty of local communities, and conserve biodiversity. The CCBA standard used on PUR Projet’s projects in Peru.
Association Française de l’Arbre Champêtre – Agroforesteries
Created in 2007 in Niort, the “Association Française Arbres Champêtres et Agroforesterie (Afac-Agroforesteries)”, has been working with different stakeholders to develop agroforestry in France, both on the agricultural and political scene, and with the general public.
EUROPEAN AGROFORESTRY FEDERATION
The European Agroforestry Federation (EURAF) aims at promoting the use of trees on farms as well as any kind of silvopastoralism throughout the different environmental regions of Europe. EURAF has about 280 members from 20 different European countries. PUR Projet is a member of EURAF.
Ekodev
Sustainable development in action
Ekodev is a consulting and service agency helping companies and local authorities to build their approach to sustainability and implement it through concrete actions. The company was founded in 2009 by 3 engineers specializing in the areas of transport, IT and ecodesign. More than 400 companies and local authorities have chosen Ekodev for its expertise and know-how to implement solutions and communication tools.
Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs
The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship is a not-for-profit, independent and neutral organization, founded in 1998, with the purpose to advance social entrepreneurship and to foster social entrepreneurs as an important catalyst for societal innovation and progress. Tristan Lecomte, PUR Projet’s founder, was appointed social entrepreneur of the year 2013 by the foundation.
Ashoka
Ashoka is a non-profit organization that supports social entrepreneurs who are leading and collaborating with changemakers, in a model that addresses the fluidity of a rapidly evolving society. Tristan Lecomte, PUR Projet’s founder is an Ashoka Fellow since 2009.
Fermes d’Avenir
The association Fermes d’Avenir, founded in late 2013, carries an ambitious social project to promote a new model of agriculture based on the principles of agroecology and in phase with the current socio-economic stakes. PUR Projet is a partner of Fermes d’Avenir and supported the creation of the permaculture Bourdaisière Farm by giving trees as a counterpart during their crowdfunding campaign as well as financing trees for the farm to follow an agroforestry model.
Demain
Demain the movie
Demain is a French documentary film directed by Cyril Dion and actress Mélanie Laurent. It identifies sustainable initiatives in ten countries around the world: solutions to environmental and social challenges of the twenty-first century, be it agriculture, energy, economy, education and governance. In order to balance the impact of the trips and the making of the movie, Demain compensated with PUR Projet by investing in the regeneration and the preservation of some ecosystems (reforestation, agroforestry, forest conservation) in partnership with small-scale producers.
Place to B
Place To B, a vibrant and diverse group collaborating in the creation of a novel story about climate change, opened its doors during COP21 to 1000 participants and coworking space for 20,000 contributors from 50 different countries in order to create a new climate change narrative. PUR Projet is a partner of Place to B
1 Heart 1 Tree
1 Heart 1 Tree is a work of art by Naziha Mestaoui that gave the opportunity to people to plant a tree of light in 3D on the Eiffel Tower during COP 21. For every digital tree that was virtually planted on the monument, a real tree will be planted through one of PUR Projet’s reforestation programs.

Created in 2012 by Christian de Boisredon, social entrepreneur and Ashoka Fellow, Sparknews is an internation social impact amplifier, at the crossroads between social innovation and leading medias. Its mission is to share in the largest number inspiring solutions and initiatives to trigger action. PUR Projet is a member of Sparknews.
Colibris
Created in 2007 under the leadership of Pierre Rabhi, Colibris mobilizes for the construction of an ecological and human society. The association places individual change at the heart of its purpose, convinced that the transformation of a society is totally dependent on human change. Colibris’s mission to inspire, connect and support citizens engaged in individual and collective transition process. PUR Projet is member of the colibris movement.
OnPurpose
On Purpose is a community that find and work with the best professionals at an early point in their career to grow the next generation of social enterprise leaders who will harness the power of business for good. PUR Projet is a partner of OnPurpose and welcomed two associates in 2015.
Fondation Iris
Fondation Iris is a private foundation under the aegis of Fondation de France. It was created in December 2012. Its aim is to promote conservation of the environment. The foundation supports actions to preserve or restore vulnerable sites, whether cultural or natural, as well as actions to respond concretely to the loss of biodiversity in all kinds of environment (land, marine, peri-urban…).
Terre Sauvage
Terre Sauvage is a French monthly magazine devoted to the public the nature and wildlife. Photography and stories play an essential role in it, as well as its environmentalists values of protecting nature. PUR Projet is a Terre Sauvage partner.
Plan Vivo Foundation
Plan Vivo is a registered Scottish charity which has created a set of requirements for smallholders and communities wishing to manage their land more sustainably. Plan Vivo has developed the Plan Vivo Standard, which is a framework for Payments for Ecosystem Services (PES) schemes for rural smallholders and communities dependent on natural resources for livelihoods.
Université de la Terre
The Earth university is a hub for reflection and discussion – two days in which citizens can find out about and discuss the major issues of society and the environment. PUR Projet participates in the Earth University in each edition.
Planet Workshops
The Global Conference is a laboratory dedicated to the emergence of a new society project. PUR Projet has participated and animated conferences to each global conference since the think tank creation.
FLOCERT
FLOCERT is a global certification and verification body first set up in 2003 to independently certify fair-trade products.
Adapt Together
Adaptogether is a consultancy firm that makes long-term, sustainable improvements in agricultural supply chains, through the design and introduction of economically-viable projects at the farm level. It is a co-founder of the International Platform for Insetting.
Solutions COP 21
Held in conjunction with the United Nations international conference, Solutions COP21 was an exhibition for all audiences, both young and old, giving them the opportunity to meet the actors with concrete solutions, to understand them, adopt them and ultimately to change the game. Associations, cities, businesses, artists, scientists, conferences, practical workshops for young audiences … and concerts, films, parties and incredible events. PUR Projet participated to Solutions COP 21 at Grand Palais and Le Bourget.
Climate Heroes
Climate Heroes is a non-profit multimedia project and educational essay for the public, which gathers worldwide stories of men and women, citizens, scientists, media, politicians and entrepreneurs who have started acting to elevate consciousness about, mitigate, or understand Climate Change. By the positive examples they provide, we trust they can inspire the great many to start mitigating climate change with small daily acts, or larger endeavours.
