After he founded and developed Alter Eco from 1998 to 2011, now fair trade leading brand in France, Tristan co-founded PUR Projet to assist companies in regenerating the ecosystems they depend upon. Tristan is moved by the will to be useful to society and bring positive change.

Programs Global Director
Andrew Nobrega
Andrew Nobrega brings a unique combination of investment experience, consulting and ecosystem service expertise to the PUR Projet team. He has a strong passion for implementing innovative social structures and strong business models that promote aligned interests between business/investors, local communities and the environment. Andrew formerly served as the Director of a Canadian sustainability consulting firm and consulted to an international financial institution in Luxembourg. More recently, Andrew worked in capital markets, where he furthered his understanding of finance and evaluated the strengths and vulnerabilities of business models across multiple sectors and geographies. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Toronto University and a Master of Science from Oxford University.

Projects Director
Yonas Fall
After having managed the Industry & Services Program teams for several years at PUR Projet, Yonas took the leadership of the Global Project team. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from HEC Paris and a Bachelor in Philosophy from Sorbonne University.
Yonas worked for Altai Consulting, a research and strategy consultancy working with private companies, governments and public institutions in developing countries for the past 4 years. He led Altai’s operations in South Sudan and contributed to various assignments in the fields of education, private sector development and migration in Afghanistan and across East Africa. Prior to joining Altai Consulting, Yonas interned at Aureos Capital, the largest private equity fund dedicated to SMEs in emerging markets. Based in Dakar, Senegal, he participated in the valuation and execution of investments in SMEs in West Africa, notably in the health sector.

Chief Operating Officer
Alexandre Schouler
After having spent 15 years working in multinational companies with a strong international exposure , Alexandre joined PUR Projet as COO of the Group, with the objective to structure and build the foundations for a scalable business. Alexandre has started his career in the pharmaceutical industry as an expat in Latin America & Asia and then enriched his experience contributing to various LBO operations. Before joining PUR Projet, Alexandre worked for INVIVO where he held a position of head of integration and then built the wine branch which successfully reached the number 2 position in the french market in less than 5 years, through an intensive build-up strategy.
Alexandre graduated from Audencia (MBA) and Essec on Impact Finance.

Legal Director
Virginie Gutkès
After having spent 25 years in worldwide companies, out of which 21 at Danone, Virginie joined PUR Projet in December 2021 as Legal Director.
As an International Business Lawyer, Virginie has exercised in Intellectual property and International distribution fields, before becoming Head of Legal Sustainable development of Danone in 2011. She notably managed, through Danone Ecosystem Fund, non-for-profit/private/public partnerships aiming to reinforce the value chains’ sustainability of a FMCG company, while benefiting to local communities and their environment.
Her last experience opened her mind on co-created inclusive economy projects and enriched her on various subjects such as sustainable agriculture, animal welfare, farmers challenges, water protection, soil regeneration, carbon footprint, circular economy, women empowerment, or social business.

Valérie du Passage
Valérie started to work at Danone in 2004, in the Food & Bevearge industry. In 2006, she joined Albéa, global Packaging leader in the Cosmetics industry.
She hold different positions: Regional Sales Director, Pricing & Sales Excellence Director, and Global Account Director. She worked with multicultural and multi-functional teams to provide innovative solutions to her customers to meet their priorities: reduction of their environmental footprint, agility and securitization of their Supply Chains.
Valérie joined PUR Projet, as European Programs Director; she wanted to have a stronger societal and environmental impact. In order to support PUR Projet’s growth, Valérie has a real desire to understand our customer’s ecosystems, in various sector of activities to define operational and strategic orientations that will generate maximal positive impacts for all stakeholders..
Valérie graduated from Em Lyon Business School.

Shira Stites
Shira joined PUR Projet in 2020 after working in the public sector on international development topics for over 5 years. As the head of the Industry and Services team based in Paris, she works with a wide range of corporate partners to support ecosystem restoration projects around the world. She is currently also PUR Projet’s representative at the International Platform for Insetting.
During her career Shira has served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi conducting work on community-based resource management within the forestry sector. She also worked at the US State Department and the US Development Finance Corporation (DFC) in Washington DC reviewing international development projects and working on impact monitoring and evaluation. Her work has allowed her to understand the key role community engagement and well-structured project design plays into developing successful programs that have strong environmental and social impacts whether funded by the private or public sector. A true cosmopolitan, Shira spent her childhood moving between the US, Canada, China. In addition to working in France, the US and Malawi, Shira has also worked in Belarus, Brazil and Hong Kong.
Shira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Earth Systems Science with interdepartmental honors from Stanford University, an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School.

Sarah Archibald
Sarah holds a Masters of Agroecology, with a specialization in agroforestry and community development. Through field and lab work, she has developed expertise in measuring ecosystem service indicators including soil and biomass carbon. Previously, Sarah managed a national sustainable supply-chain initiative on 40 university campuses across Canada to shift institutional budgets towards sustainable and fair-trade products. Working at the Global Crop Trust, Sarah supported a global seed bank analysis. Sarah has farmed in eight countries and has supported many local and global farmer initiatives; she is constantly inspired to see people and plants working in harmony.

Allison Bain
Working first for IBM as a Strategy Consultant for 9 years, and as a Sustainability Strategy Consultant for more than 10 yeras, Allison believes that businesses face an unprecedented opportunity to use sustainability thinking to improve results and scale while making a positive impact in the world. With this belief, Allison has worked with a variety of social enterprises in the agricultural space to help them create sustainable and impactful business models that can attract impact investment and scale. She holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) designation and an MBA in Sustainable Business Strategy.

Anne-Sophie Alibert
After having worked as a consultant in organisation and digital transformation, Anne-Sophie joined On Purpose, a programme of reconversion in the Social and Solidarity Economy and joined PUR Projet. Today Anne-Sophie works with PUR Projet partners (consulting firms or communication agencies, start up, events, associations, …) on joint projects or offers. Her aim is to create a maximum of connections between PUR Projet and other organisations committed to climate and agriculture in order to support our projects and to highlight the expertise of PUR Projet.
Regional Manager Europe
Emilia D’Avack
Emilia joined the PUR team in 2015 to develop the first marine based community project, combining coral reef restoration with mangrove conservation and agroforestry. Holding a Masters in Marine Biology and a Bachelor degree in Sustainable Development, she is perfectly placed to bridge the gap between marine and terrestrial environments. She previously gained experience conducting research in both laboratory and field environments and has published work on ecosystem resilience to human pressures.
Emilia is deeply passionate about preserving and regenerating biodiversity and she believes that empowering local communities to sustainably manage their natural resources is key to long-term environmental and social prosperity.

Regional Manager France
Emil Simondon
Ingeneer in Agriculture and related industries, Emil specialized himself in agroecology through a voluntary service in an environmental association developing partnerships with french farmers. There, he helped farmers settle sustainable agricultural practices and worked on developing sustainable and territorialized food systems. Emil joined Pur Projet in august 2017 after working one year as assistant teacher of agroecology at Groupe ESA in Angers, France.
Passionate of questions related to agricultural transition, he got seduced by the “shared value” approach promoted by Pur Projet through insetting. He enjoys being in contact with farmers and working at the interface between the different actors of the agriculture industry.

Regional Manager Africa
Joséphine Glorion
Joséphine is responsible for managing PUR Projet’s activities in Africa: designing ecosystem restoration and livelihoods improvement community projects, managing operations and building local long-term strategies for project autonomy. With her team of over 60 staff and technicians, she has developed and directly manages projects in Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Ghana, Uganda, Madagascar, Kenya and Morocco.
Joséphine joined PUR Projet in 2017 to manage programs for corporate partners, leading specifically PUR Projet’s key partnerships in the cocoa sector under the Cocoa and Forest Initiative Framework, before joining the Africa team in 2021.
She holds a Bachelor Degree in Political Science and a MSc in International Relations and Development from Sciences Po Paris. Before joining PUR Projet, she had various professional experiences in Europe and Latin America working on environmental policy & diplomacy, and risk management.

Regional Manager Asia
Lorena Frier
With a background in International Economics, Lorena started working at PUR Projet as Programs Manager, being in charge of key international accountsand implementing agroforestry & sustainable agriculture programs in France and abroad. After four years in Paris HQ, she moved to Bangkok regional office to take over the operational management of Asia’s projects. With over 8 countries in this scope, she notably oversees projects linked to the cacao, coffee, rice, sugarcane and patchouli supply chains.

Regional Manager Latin America
Barbara Bonnet
Working for PUR Projet since 2015, Barbara has been an essential player in the development and management of key projects in South & Central America.
She is currently the lead project implementor on PUR Projet’s coffee projects in Guatemala and Costa Rica, cocoa project in Honduras (Gold Standard certified) and leading the development of a new cocoa project in Mexico.
She has developed extensive experience in the cocoa supply chain and knowledge of cocoa-farming communities in the region.
Before working with PUR Projet, Barbara was supporting the FNC (Federacion Nacional de Cafeteros) in Colombia on coffee certification and sustainability topics.

Carbon expert
Aurélien Cartal
Aurélien joined PUR Projet in 2018, with a strong experience in carbon certification, impact measurement, and MRV process. As senior manager at central-office he is working on the development of innovative tools and solutions to support projects monitoring and to maximize impacts of PUR Projet activities. Passionate, purpose-driven, and with strong “entrepreneur” mindset, he loves the idea of putting innovation and technologies at the service of climate action, poverty reduction and preservation of ecosystems.
Aurelien holds a Master of economics and industrial organization from the University Paris Dauphine. He started his career at EY as a consultant working on sustainability strategies of various French Corporates (Accor, Lafarge, Engie, Pernod-Ricard). He then joined Microsol, a social business based in Peru, working on Goldstandard carbon certification of improved cookstoves, water filters, and rural electrification projects. More recently he created a startup in the Foodtech industry in Peru.

Regenerative Agriculture expert
Paul Hrycyk
Paul is responsible for the development, coordination, management and monitoring of PUR Projet’s Canadian and USA based projects. He supports PUR Projet’s global portfolio of Regenerative Agriculture projects and leads the Soils and Regenerative Ag knowledge group. As a Supply Chain Auditor, Paul works with PUR Projet’s clients to identify and mitigate social and environmental risks in their supply chain to ensure suppliers adhere to a responsible procurement policy. Paul has an MSc in Soil Science and a BES from the University of Waterloo.
HR Senior Manager
Marie Godard
After working in various consulting firms’ directions and organizations of all sizes, Marie joined the PUR Projet’s team in summer 2012 to manage the Administrative and Financial services, Sales Administration, Human Resources and Office Management. Due to the international growth of the company, she progressively focussed on HR matters to become HR Senior Manager from 2018. Concerned about the environment, passionate for terroirs and diversity of local productions, she is delighted to contribute to changing the contemporary business model to some future that makes sense and gives a real meaning to the human resource.

Patricia Njoya
Patricia manages PUR Projet Group Accouting & Reporting.
She joined PUR Projet in 2020 after 11 years in a big 4 accounting firm working on external audit and accounting advisory in the U.S, Luxembourg & France. She graduated with a Masters in Accounting from the University of Houston and obtained her Certified Public Accountant (chartered accountant) license in Texas.
She managed engagements for multinational clients across multiple industries and teams based in Europe, the U.S. and Africa, helping with internal controls, new accounting standards implementation and capital market transactions. She is passionate about diverse team culture as well as process development and implementation.
Data & Tech Manager
Fabrice Laumond
Fabrice has joined Pur Projet in 2020 after almost 15 years working in data and IT infrastructure. Today he is in charge of building a new technical architecture for the company and give a Data Driven vision to help people in their day to day work with the right tools.
Finance Controller
Adrien Laurent
Adrien joined PUR Projet in March 2021 to become the Finance Controller of the company after two years learning and growing in a French tech consulting firm. Driven by having a positive impact on our world, his mission is to ensure PP’s projects financial viability and to facilitate processes between the Program and Project sides at the heart of the group.
Raised in a family with an agricultural background, it is a great pleasure for him to be able to give back to both nature and farmers around the world.
