Albéric Pottier
Albéric joined PUR Projet in 2015 after 9 years in the strategy & marketing consulting industry. He graduated from ESCP-EAP, with a specialization in Strategy, and studied Entrepreneurship at the university of William & Mary, Virginia.
Prior to joining PUR Projet, Albéric worked as Director within one of the leading consulting firms and proved his ability to successfully manage projects with concrete results. He led consulting engagements for clients in Europe, Latin America and the U.S. in multiple industries, B2B as well as B2C, in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Despite the medium size of its consultancy, he kept looking for entrepreneurship and to challenge himself, working in 4 different offices, launching a new office, developing business, growing a team, improving his skills. Ecologically aware and willing to make a change, he fits with PUR Projet pool of enthusiastic entrepreneurs.

Andrew Nobrega
Andrew Nobrega brings a unique combination of investment experience, consulting and ecosystem service expertise to the PUR Projet team. He has a strong passion for implementing innovative social structures and strong business models that promote aligned interests between business/investors, local communities and the environment. Andrew formerly served as the Director of a Canadian sustainability consulting firm and consulted to an international financial institution in Luxembourg. More recently, Andrew worked in capital markets, where he furthered his understanding of finance and evaluated the strengths and vulnerabilities of business models across multiple sectors and geographies. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Toronto University and a Master of Science from Oxford University.

Allison Bain
Working first for IBM as a Strategy Consultant for 9 years, and as a Sustainability Strategy Consultant for more than 10 yeras, Allison believes that businesses face an unprecedented opportunity to use sustainability thinking to improve results and scale while making a positive impact in the world. With this belief, Allison has worked with a variety of social enterprises in the agricultural space to help them create sustainable and impactful business models that can attract impact investment and scale. Victor Delaby
Victor joined Pur Projet in July 2018 to structure impact investment projects and work on the economic impact of agroforestry projects.
Having always been eager and driven to work for social and environmental business, after a year in Indonesia as an exchange student, he volunteered for the Filipino NGO, Gawad Kalinga. There, he developed a social business in the retail sector. Spending 6 months in Hong Kong, he had the opportunity to intern along with two entrepreneurs supporting them setting up a company in the social real estate.
Victor holds a Master in Management from IESEG School of Management with a major in corporate finance and a minor in social entrepreneurship.

Marie Baranger
Marie joined PUR Projet in 2015 after working in development assistance and socio-agronomic research in South America.
After being in charge of managing some of PUR Projet’s key client accounts in the cosmetic and food industries, Marie took over the management of PUR Projet’s projects in Africa. She now shares her life between Paris and Africa where she coordinates field operations with farmer organizations, performs field diagnosis for new project designs as well as field audits.
Prior to joining PUR Projet, Marie worked for CIRAD in Nicaragua with coffee producers, analysing compromises between agriculture and preservation of natural resources. Her passion for South America dates back to 2012, when she led a research project on micro-insurance in Colombia, Peru and Argentina.
Marie holds a Master in Management from ESCP Europe.

Kidist Girma Tadesse
Kidist G Tadesse joined Pur Projet in January 2020 as project manager East Africa based in Addis Ababa. She is responsible for designing and implementing the long-term autonomy strategy, as well as progressively oversee the regular field operations in Ethiopia in strong coordination with the existing team (based in Hawassa)
She is also responsible for the business development in the region (fundraising with multilateral organizations particularly) and finally, she designs and manages operations in East Africa (in Ethiopia and other countries in East Africa).

Emilia D’Avack
Emilia joined the PUR team in 2015 to develop the first marine based community project, combining coral reef restoration with mangrove conservation and agroforestry. Holding a Masters in Marine Biology and a Bachelor degree in Sustainable Development, she is perfectly placed to bridge the gap between marine and terrestrial environments. She previously gained experience conducting research in both laboratory and field environments and has published work on ecosystem resilience to human pressures.
Emilia is deeply passionate about preserving and regenerating biodiversity and she believes that empowering local communities to sustainably manage their natural resources is key to long-term environmental and social prosperity.

Joël Baumgartner
Joël has more than 12 years professional experience in the fields of ecosystem services and sustainable supply chains. Joël’s expertise includes rural China, agroforestry and reforestation, rural energies, carbon finance, agriculture supply chains, etc.
Based in Kunming, his scope covers China, as well as other countries in East, Central and South-East Asia, where he has been designing, implementing and monitoring projects, auditing numerous supply chains (silk, cashmere, feather, wood, etc.) as well as performing socio-environmental auditing on industrial sites.
Joël joined PUR Projet in 2017 as East-Asia Projects Coordinator, after having been a freelance consultant for PUR Projet on several projects in China and China Coordinator for Initiative Développement. He has been living in China since 2008 and is passionate about the Middle Kingdom for more than two decades. He graduated from Geneva University in Politics (MA), and holds a second Master degree in Asian Studies, with a specialization on China.

Camille Le Stradic
Camille is responsible for managing PUR Projet’s projects and teams across Latin America. She joined PUR Projet in 2016 to manage programs for corporate partners. She developed and rolled out PUR Projet’s DIAG methodology on several supply chains and geographies, before joining the Latin American team in 2018. Today, she is based in Bogota, developing and directly managing projects on cocoa and coffee supply chains in Colombia, Peru, Guatemala, Honduras, Brazil, Costa Rica and Mexico. Camille has also developed a strong experience in carbon certification by leading verification audits for VCS and Gold Standard in our projects in Peru and Honduras.
Before she joined PUR Projet, Camille worked at L’Occitane where she learnt about eco-design, green chemistry and sustainable sourcing issues that have been increasingly important challenges for cosmetics companies. She proved her entrepreneurial spirit working for small brands of the L’Occitane group (L’Occitane au Brésil, Le Couvent des Minimes) and developed strong Project Development, Marketing and Brand management skills.

Lorena Frier
Following a Masters Degree in International Business, Lorena was involved in many extracurricular humanitarian projects and environmental NGOs. Convinced by the positive and holistic approach of insetting and PUR Projet’s projects, she has joined the Programs Team in February 2016.

Hendrika Fauzi
Hendrika joined PUR projet in 2019 as a Project Officer in Indonesia, to manage the Kopi Lestari project, focusing primarily on coffee Agroforestry and reforestation projects in Sumatera. He is a coffee business agricultural.
Prior to joining Pur Projet, Hendrika worked as a consultant at Conservation International Indonesia, to develop and support local communities and internal control system of coffee trading in Aceh.

Arif Kurniawan
Arif joined PUR Projet in 2019 as the project manager for Indonesia & Papua New Guinea.
He is responsible for developing and implementing socio-environmental projects within the supply chains of our corporate partners. The implementations are done through social and economic empowerment of local communities and the introduction of sustainable development initiatives at the agricultural level.
Prior to joining PUR Projet, Arif worked as a Senior Business Consultant at Palladium on project Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Rural Economic Development. He was responsible for design and monitor initiative project to improve market efficiency and increase economic returns in selected value chains by addressing the root causes of under-performance product or commodities in rural farmer in Eastern Indonesia

Clément Castagna
Clément joined PUR Projet in 2016 as Program Manager to develop an offer adapted for small and medium businesses interested in mitigating their environmental footprint, to work on animal supply chains and to support the Communication & Marketing team.
His strong desire to better understand current social and environmental challenges and their potential solutions led him to graduate from EMLYON Business School and Sciences-Po Lyon, where he studied entrepreneurship, corporate finance, social innovation, inclusive business models and project management in development.
As a passionate Globetrotter, Clement has an experience in microfinance in India, worked as humanitarian volunteer in Togo and Bulgaria, and then joined the Livelihoods fund which develops agroforestry projects for carbon offsetting with strong positive impacts. He later did consulting in social intrapreneurship within big companies at Ashoka Mexico.
On his spare time, Clément is fond of travelling and music.

Barbara Bonnet
Working for PUR Projet since 2015, Barbara has been an essential player in the development and management of key projects in South & Central America.
She is currently the lead project implementor on PUR Projet’s coffee projects in Guatemala and Costa Rica, cocoa project in Honduras (Gold Standard certified) and leading the development of a new cocoa project in Mexico.
She has developed extensive experience in the cocoa supply chain and knowledge of cocoa-farming communities in the region.
Before working with PUR Projet, Barbara was supporting the FNC (Federacion Nacional de Cafeteros) in Colombia on coffee certification and sustainability topics.

Delphine Dekeister
Delphine coordinates PUR Projet activities in West Africa. Based in Abidjan, she directly coordinates all operations in the country and manages local technical teams. Delphine holds a MSc in Agricultural Development, and has 15 years of experience in the management and development of agricultural and environmental projects in Africa (Madagascar, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Ghana).

Iyasu Adisu
Iyasu worked in TechnoServe Inc, in Ethiopia for 2 years as Business Advisor in coffee agronomy department. Starting from January 2015, Iyasu joined PUR Projet as a projects coordinator in Africa. His main focus in to support small-scale African farmers to diversify their incomes and improve farm productivity through tree planting and trainings.

Fon Supitcha Tiyapipat
With a Bachelor’s Degree in management from Ritsumeikan APU in Japan and a Master’s Degree in Finance from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, Fon spent 8 years working in capital market and trading companies in Bangkok. In 2014 she moved back to her hometown Chiang Mai. Her innate curiosity and love of travel led to her rediscovery of hill tribes during which she also witnessed Thailand’s deforestation problems. As such, she co-founded a local green squad, called Meuyen Meungyen, composed of a voluntary team that donates their time to tree planting initiatives around the city. In November 2015, Fon joined PUR Projet as Thailand country manager to further strengthen her commitment to reforestation projects.

Xavier Collet
Xavier Collet is an environmental consultant with more than 10 years experience in environmental, health and safety, and social auditing; environmental and social baseline and impact assessments; and contaminated site management. He has managed or contributed to a diverse range of industrial, mining and oil and gas projects in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Stéphane Nicolas
Stéphane joined PUR Projet in November 2019 as HR Director with the main mission to support the development of the company.
Stéphane has a solid background as HR Director acquired in renowned international companies: multinationals, family group, and start-ups; he has held local and global positions covering several continents.
Stéphane has several experiences in organizational transformation, merger/acquisition, organizational change management, coaching of fast-growing companies, negotiation with social partners, implementation of adapted HR programs and initiatives.
In 2013, after one year of training, Stéphane obtains his Professional Coach certification. Since then, he has been regularly developing his experience and his position as a coach, either as an independent external coach or as an HR-Coach. The development of the autonomy of the employees is a central point of his action.

After 13 years of experience as an executive assistant in consulting firms and other large CAC 40 groups, Coraline joined PUR Projet in 2019 as an Office Manager and thus widened her field of expertise.
Facilitating the work of her collaborators and making their presence at the office more pleasant is her main leitmotif.

Patricia was a co-founder of Alter Eco from the creation of the company between 1998 and 2002.Throughout her time at Alter Eco she worked alongside many companies to develop different skills and training for Human Resources and Sales Management. This experience has given her a detailed understanding of the organization and structure of the different branches of both public and private sector companies.
As a co-founder of the PUR Projet she is motivated by the idea that a commitment to both environmental values and dynamic growth go hand in hand. She is eager to promote different offers and services which integrate these values into the heart of a company.

Aurore Oberlé
Aurore graduated from AgroParisTech French school and acquired a strong technical background in agronomy, sustainable agriculture and agroforestry. She also worked for L’Oréal at the raw material purchasing department and worked on natural raw material and palm-oil derivated products, in coordination with the Solidarity Sourcing program of L’Oréal.

Manowat Hemwong
Manowat Hemwong joined the team in 2017 to develop PUR Projet in Thailand. He is the project officer for the Isaan region.
Manowat holds a Bachelor in Agroforestry from Maejo University and has been working for resforestation in Ban Prue. His family is involved in Yindee, a community enterprise of organic rice farmers who has already planted 4000 trees with PUR Projet.

Emil Simondon
Ingeneer in Agriculture and related industries, Emil specialized himself in agroecology through a voluntary service in an environmental association developing partnerships with french farmers. There, he helped farmers settle sustainable agricultural practices and worked on developing sustainable and territorialized food systems. Emil joined Pur Projet in august 2017 after working one year as assistant teacher of agroecology at Groupe ESA in Angers, France.
Passionate of questions related to agricultural transition, he got seduced by the “shared value” approach promoted by Pur Projet through insetting. He enjoys being in contact with farmers and working at the interface between the different actors of the agriculture industry.

Claire Breit-Corbière
Agricultural engineer graduate from Purpan in Toulouse, Claire completed her education with a specialised Mastère in sustainable food systems from Montpellier SupAgro.
Passionate and eager to learn more about local practices, she worked with the Fédération départementale des CIVAM du Gard, a rural and agricultural French association. This unique experience allowed her to study the economic, environmental and social sustainability of the micro-farm model. She managed agroecology formations and built an agroecology practices exchange program for farmers.
In 2019, she joined PUR Projet team France, working alongside Emil Simondon and Claire Zwilling on agroforestry and sustainable practices projects.

Joséphine Glorion
Joséphine is part of the Food & Beverage programs team and leads PUR Projet’s key partnerships in the cocoa sector. Since 2017, Joséphine has contributed to developing and managing our activities and policy work in West Africa under the Cocoa and Forest Initiative Framework. Today, she manages ecosystem restoration and livelihoods programs in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Peru, Mexico, Vietnam, The Philippines and Papua New Guinea.
She holds a MSc in International Relations and Development from Sciences Po Paris. Before joining PUR Projet, she had various experiences in Europe and Latin America working on environmental policy & diplomacy, natural capital and risk management.

Yonas Fall
Yonas is a Senior Program Manager for PUR Projet, working especially on the development of ou AccorHotels partnership. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from HEC Paris and a Bachelor in Philosophy from Sorbonne University.
Yonas worked for Altai Consulting, a research and strategy consultancy working with private companies, governments and public institutions in developing countries for the past 4 years. He led Altai’s operations in South Sudan and contributed to various assignments in the fields of education, private sector development and migration in Afghanistan and across East Africa. Prior to joining Altai Consulting, Yonas interned at Aureos Capital, the largest private equity fund dedicated to SMEs in emerging markets. Based in Dakar, Senegal, he participated in the valuation and execution of investments in SMEs in West Africa, notably in the health sector.

Juliette Cody
Juliette Cody is passionate about guiding companies and investors towards innovative solutions that create value through positive environmental and social impact.
She joined PUR Projet in 2017 after working as a sustainability consultant for 3 years at PwC. There, Juliette advised companies from various sectors on environmental, social, and governance strategies and conducted evaluations of social practices in the supply chains of retail/textile companies. Her work brought her to different parts of Europe, North America, West Africa and Asia, and allowed her to gain a deep understanding of the sustainability risks and opportunities associated with business models across multiple industries. Prior to this, she interned with the United Nations in Indonesia to work on international financial mechanisms designed to limit and address deforestation.
Juliette holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po Paris.

Jules has two MSCs in Environmental Biology (Université Pierre et Marie Curie) and in Innovation and Technology Management (Sorbonne).
He first worked in urban agriculture, prototyping aquaponic systems (fish and vegetables farming in a closed cycle) and spent two years and a half working in the energy sector (Engie and GRDF) on green gas business development and innovation management.
He joined PUR Projet to work on AccorHotels’ French Program: Concours Arbres d’Avenir.

Dima Alhourani
Dima joined the PUR team in 2018 shortly after finishing graduate school. She has an international background thanks to her education which opened many doors for her to travel, work and learn in various countries mostly in Central America, the Middle East and Asia.
Dima holds an MA in International Development from Sciences Po with a focus on research methodology and project management, and a BA double major in Economics and Urban Studies from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
At PUR Projet she works on an array of topics related to responsible supply chains in the fashion industry, as well is agroforestry within commodity crops such as coffee.

Laure Harter
Laure graduated from INSA Lyon, a French engineering school, majoring in civil engineering and urban planning. During her studies, she interned at Eiffage for the development of construction planning tools and conducted research about green living roofs in New York. After graduating, she volunteered for the Filipino NGO Gawad Kalinga to empower local communities through the development of social agri-businesses. Back in France, she was eager to get involved in projects that tackle socio-environmental challenges.

Marie Dudt
With a main focus on business & human rights, Marie joined the team in 2018 as a sustainable supply chain analyst and auditor. She mainly carries out social and environmental audits in Asia, and provides expertise on sustainable supply chains, especially on human rights-related topics.
She built her experience as a sustainability consultant in an international firm. She was advising companies on building sustainable strategies and incorporating human rights issues within their operations. More specifically, Marie was conducting ESG environmental, social and governance) assessments of portfolio companies for private equity clients. During her three years in this firm, Marie also carried out social audits in various parts of the globe.
Marie is also involved in Sciences Po Law School, where she supervises students on human rights impact assessment projects with multinational corporations (food industry, industrial sector).
Marie holds a degree in Human Rights from Sciences Po Paris, as well as a Maîtrise in Business Law from Université UPEC and Sheffield Hallam University.

With a multicultural background and three years living and studying overseas (Thailand, South Korea, Ireland and Spain), Alix has made her way back to France to complete a master degree in management at IÉSEG School of management.
Engaged and volunteer, she has previous experiences in the development of agroecological projects in France.
Today, searching for meaning and a greater impact on the World, she joined PUR Projet in August 2019. Based in the Paris office, she mainly works on projects and with clients around health and beauty.

Anaïs Gentit
Ingineer in agronomy, Anaïs is specialized in the Environmental Management of Ecosystems and Tropical Forests. Curious to learn from communities who live sustainably from agriculture while preserving forest resources, she travelled and work in different tropical forest areas in order to study such agro-ecosystems. More specifically, Anaïs worked for an afforestation project in Tanzania (CIRAD, TPC Ltd) and she worked as a research officer at CIFOR in Indonesia where she studied the evolution of agricultural and forest management practices of Dayak communities. More recently, she was in charge of managing an ecological reserve in Guadaloupe at the Office National des Forêts.

Anne-Sophie Alibert
After having worked as a consultant in organisation and digital transformation, Anne-Sophie joined On Purpose, a programme of reconversion in the Social and Solidarity Economy and joined PUR Projet. Today Anne-Sophie works with PUR Projet partners (consulting firms or communication agencies, start up, events, associations, …) on joint projects or offers. Her aim is to create a maximum of connections between PUR Projet and other organisations committed to climate and agriculture in order to support our projects and to highlight the expertise of PUR Projet.

Emmanuelle Hervéou
Emmanuelle joined the team as Senior Manager Media and Communication
Graduated in French literature and communication, Emmanuelle has gained her experience working in several advertising agencies in Paris for ten years. She started her career in strategic planning department at DDB France where she learned about brand identity and positioning.
More recently, she worked at We Are Social, as a senior account director where she managed social media and digital strategies for clients such as Moët&Chandon, Piaget, Novotel, Action Contre la Faim, Accorhotels…
She then decided to apply her skills to a passion more meaningful to her: the ocean! She became president of Coral Guardian: a non-profit organisation dedicated to coral reef conservation and the empowerment of coastal communities. She spent the past year, as a volunteer, raising awareness for the association through several projects and campaigns in France and Indonesia

Emilie Coulon
Emilie joined PUR Projet in 2018 as a communication intern. She just graduated from a Management school where she majored in entrepreneurship, with a focus on social economy. She is now working as a Program Officer for the North American activities of PUR Projet. She also studied innovation strategies at the University Carlos III, Madrid and previously worked in Cebu City, Philippines, in a digital start-up.
She is deeply convinced that firms must leverage their economic weight to take a stand in the fight against global warming, meanwhile helping community empowerment, and this is the reason why she chose to join PUR Projet.

Alice Artigues
Alice joined PUR Projet team in 2018 as a Program Manager, she designs, manages and monitors agroforestry programs with small farmers for foundations and companies.
She is strongly committed to the environment and strongly believes in the social, economic and environmental added-value of agroforestry.
Before joining PUR Projet, Alice worked in several ways for the general interest. She worked as a consultant for 4 years and a half, first in program management for the public and not-for-profit sectors for PwC in Paris and then, in evaluation of public policies for EY in Milan. The various projects she worked on allowed her to work on issues related to forests, oceans and agriculture.
Alice also has experience in two social businesses in Asia in the field of sustainable agriculture. In particular, she carried out a feasibility study for launching a production of organic plants in a disadvantaged village in the Philippines. She also volunteers for different environmental associations.
Alice graduated from ESCP Europe where she majored in entrepreneurship and she studies economics of the environment and natural resources at the Technische Universität Berlin.

Kelly Gouhoury
Kelly profoundly believes that environmental challenges could be better addressed by being considered in the very heart of companies’ business models and their CSR core strategies. The insetting approach and true knowlegde of field challenges related to supply chains caught her interest in PUR Projet work. She joined the team in 2018 as a Program Officer, working specifically on food and cosmetics sectors.
Before joining PUR Projet, Kelly has worked for WWF on the development of responsible food industries and on issues related to imported deforestation. She supported companies in the definition of their commitments and valued communication messages on sustainable diets. Before that, she lived in Bolivia where she was responsible for a project promoting traditional agricultural practices in order to improve resilience to climate change impacts in the Andes. She also lived in South Africa where she volunteered in Kruger Park. Throughout her experiences, Kelly has developped a true interest in food production challenges anywhere in the world and a taste for new cultures to meet. PUR Projet is a wonderful opportunity to work on a variety of topics that are important to her and to rebuild the essential link between farmers, environment and economy.
Kelly holds an engineering degree from AgroParisTech and an MSc. in Environmental Economics.

Project Officer
Manon Constanty
Manon joined Pur Projet in 2018 as project officer in Peru and is working on reforestation and agroforestry projects. She is an agricultural engineer specialized in the management of ecosystems and tropical forests and holds Resarch Master degree in Mathematics, Modeling, Economics and Social Sciences as well as a Master degree in business administration.
Highly passionate about the interaction between local environmental and social impacts and globalized value chains, she spent 6 months in Costa Rica to carry out a study on the coffee value chain and worked on the development of the Moringa value chain in Togo. She previously worked on the elaboration of the Climate Change National Adaptation Plan for Senegal for the United Nations Development Program.
Throughout her experiences, she has developed a strong interest for agroforestry and is convinced that the development of such agro-ecosystems, together with producers’ empowerment and consumers’ awareness are key elements to benefit rural communities and the environment.

Anna Morio
Anna joined Pur Projet in 2018 as a Colombia project officer. She previously worked with the French Agency of Development in Uzbekistan. She graduated from an agro-development engineering school where she concluded a masters in management and funding of development projects.
Keen on the social aspects of agriculture, she experienced in different continents regarding rural development. She worked in Guatemala in a federation of coffee farmers cooperative, FEDECOCAGUA. After that, she went to Ghana with the Forest Trust to conduct a research mission in the palm and cocoa sector. The aim was to create a methodology that would help monitor farmers resilience. She then worked with the French Agency of Development in Uzbekistan. She was in charge of studying the current agrarian dynamics in Uzbekistan and to describe the evolution of agrarian value chains.
She is confident that the key for a sustainable future lies on an ecological, economical and social reconciliation between producers and third suppliers.

Karim Lagha
Karim joined the Parisian team of PUR Projet as a Program Officer in July 2018. He is deeply convinced that integrating sustainability is strategic for the future of businesses today more than ever before. Karim just graduated from an MSc in Sustainability and Social Innovation at HEC Paris, where he experienced business model innovation with high profile speakers in class as well as on the field working on building the CSR Strategy of the Nutriset and helping to build the business model of the French Start-up L’increvable.
His study background includes a Master in Environment and Climate change adaptation and an engineering degree with experiences at Veolia working on Industrial micropollutants as well as working on Sustainable agriculture at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.

Paul Hrycyk
Paul brings a strong understanding of soil science and carbon sequestration potential in temperate and tropical regions to the PUR Projet team. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and a Master of Science in Soil Science, Paul’s research has been focused on the impact of management practices on belowground carbon dynamics and carbon cycling. Prior to joining PUR Projet, Paul spent four years at an agricultural NGO working on seed security and regenerative agricultural practices with Canadian farmers.
Experiences while traveling to over 30 countries on 5 continents furthered Paul’s passion for development and afforded him unique learning opportunities. He joined PUR Projet in December 2018.

Aurélien Cartal
Aurélien joined PUR Projet in 2018, with a strong experience in carbon certification, impact measurement, and MRV process. As senior manager at central-office he is working on the development of innovative tools and solutions to support projects monitoring and to maximize impacts of PUR Projet activities. Passionate, purpose-driven, and with strong “entrepreneur” mindset, he loves the idea of putting innovation and technologies at the service of climate action, poverty reduction and preservation of ecosystems.
Aurelien holds a Master of economics and industrial organization from the University Paris Dauphine. He started his career at EY as a consultant working on sustainability strategies of various French Corporates (Accor, Lafarge, Engie, Pernod-Ricard). He then joined Microsol, a social business based in Peru, working on Goldstandard carbon certification of improved cookstoves, water filters, and rural electrification projects. More recently he created a startup in the Foodtech industry in Peru.

Maximilien Simon
After spending a year and a half in Mozambique for a French sugar cooperative, Maximilien headed back to Europe looking for a way to combine his agricultural skills with his field experiences within an organization having a positive impact on the planet. In January 2019, he joined the London office of PUR Projet, working mainly on designing and operating agroforestry and reforestation projects within Europe.
Graduated from ISA Lille (Agriculture engineering school) he studied a broad range of agricultural systems by working in different countries (New Zealand, Taiwan, Viet Nam…). If not at the office or in the field visiting planting sites, you will find him exploring the outdoors.

Program Manager (Bogota)
Mateo Bermudez
Passionate about the link between ecology and development issues, Mateo joined the team in 2019 as program manager based in Bogota. He coordinates the implementation of a binational project between Peru and Honduras financed by the Euroclima+ fund from the European Union. This project aims at strengthening local governance and promoting sustainable land uses. After obtaining a master’s degree in international relations and environmental policies at Sciences Po Paris, Mateo first joined the French climate change negotiations task force for COP 21 and COP 22.
He more specifically focused on public climate finance and REDD (Reducing emissions from deforestation and Forest degradation). Following a second master’s degree in ecosystem management at AgroParisTech, he travelled to Colombia to analyze governmental programs aiming fighting deforestation for a CIRAD research project. He met on this occasion Pur Projet Latin America team. Convinced that reaching the many objectives of the ecological transition implies achieving strong alliances between different actors (public, private, civil society, research…), Mateo explores cooperation modalities and synergy opportunities. He works in close collaboration with Helvetas and Madera Verde foundations in Honduras and Amazonia Viva Foundation in Peru on topics such as capacity-building of local communities, revenue diversification, and restoration of deforested landscapes.

Aude Le Leuch
After about 15 years of experience in Finance and Sustainable Development for a leading international provider of environmental services, Aude joined PUR Projet in October 2018.
A Finance and Sustainable Development graduate, Aude started her career in the banking and consultancy industry in London before working for over 10 years in the waste and water management business. People-oriented, during her financial career, she has always sought to support direction and teams to achieve and reach greater effectiveness in project management and activities development. In her words, “finance must be a way to support business growth and not its goal”.
As Director of Sustainable Development in environmental services, she also developed her expertise in ESG management, sustainable finance and integrated report. Today, as part of PUR Projet, Aude brings an appropriate combination of expertise in finance and triple bottom line approach.

Nadine Stueber
Nadine joined PUR Projet as an intern in 2018 and returned to PUR Projet in 2019 as a Program Officer, after finishing a double degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy at Sciences Po and Université Pierre et Marie Currie.
Previously she worked at KPMG in strategic and operational advisory as well as at Danone in environmental strategy.
Having lived both in China and Peru, she has personally experienced the importance of using environmental and natural resources more sustainably. These experiences have made her very aware of the environmental challenges countries are confronted with and the importance of finding more holistic practices, which are both environmentally sustainable and economically feasible for communities and companies.
At PUR Projet she works on agroforestry projects with clients from the food and beverage sector.

Sarah Archibald
Sarah holds a Masters of Agroecology, with a specialization in agroforestry and community development. Through field and lab work, she has developed expertise in measuring ecosystem service indicators including soil and biomass carbon. Previously, Sarah managed a national sustainable supply-chain initiative on 40 university campuses across Canada to shift institutional budgets towards sustainable and fair-trade products. Working at the Global Crop Trust, Sarah supported a global seed bank analysis. Sarah has farmed in eight countries and has supported many local and global farmer initiatives; she is constantly inspired to see people and plants working in harmony.

Central Operations Officer
Pierre Candelon
Pierre joined PUR Projet in summer 2019 to conduct research and to support our projects design and implementation.
Based in Paris, he is co-coordinating the PUR Lab, the “research hub” of PUR Projet, that aims at delivering high-quality knowledge on the communities and ecosystems we are working with, setting up monitoring and evaluation processes, and maximizing our impacts on the long term.
His prior working organizations include the Institute for Climate Economics, the UNFCCC, French public agencies (DREAL), and NGOs. The missions he has been conducting enabled him to gain experience in various fields such as marine ecology, biodiversity policies, climate change adaptation, and community social resilience project management, in France but also in Brazil and in the Caribbean.
Passionate in international environmental policy, he has been involved in climate change negotiations as a youth delegate for the French government for two years. He is an academic tutor at the SOAS University, in the MSc Climate Change and Development, and gives occasional lectures on environment global policy-making processes.
Pierre graduated from the French Engineering school AgroParisTech, in Agronomy, Ecology and Environment Policies. He also holds an MSc in Development Studies from the University of East Anglia, in the United Kingdom.

Andrés Gómez
Andrés Joined PUR Projet in 2020 as a project officer in Central America. Before joining the team, he worked as a productive coordinator in public and private ONG’s, with projects focused on technical and social strengthen with farmers and vulnerable communities (indigenous, afro descendants and displaced farmers).
Andrés holds a bachelor in animal sciences and an MSc in agrarian sciences, both specialized on rural development
